Refund Policy

You have 7 days from purchase to request a refund for eligible issues.
Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 business days to your original payment method.
Our team reviews every refund request personally — no automated rejections.
1. Overview
CodeVyapaar ("we," "us," or "our") sells digitally delivered software products. Because downloaded digital products cannot be "returned," our refund policy is structured around verified defects and material misrepresentation rather than buyer's remorse.
We stand behind the quality of every product listed on our marketplace. If a product fails to meet our quality standards and the author cannot resolve the issue in time, we will issue a full refund.
2. Eligible Refund Reasons
You are eligible for a refund within 7 calendar days of your purchase date if any of the following apply:
- Non-functional product: The item does not work as described in the product listing, and the author has not provided a working fix within 72 hours of your verified report.
- Critical undisclosed incompatibility: The product requires a specific environment, version, or dependency that is not disclosed in the product description, and no workaround exists.
- Materially different from description: The delivered product is significantly different from what was advertised (e.g., missing primary features listed in the description).
- Duplicate charge: Your payment method was charged more than once for the same order.
- Unauthorized charge: You did not authorize the purchase (subject to fraud review).
3. Non-Eligible Scenarios
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- You changed your mind about the purchase after downloading.
- You purchased the wrong item and have already downloaded it.
- You lack the technical skills to install or customize the product (though we encourage you to use our Help Center and contact the author for assistance).
- The product has minor cosmetic differences from screenshots due to browser rendering differences.
- You are attempting to use the product for purposes that violate our licensing terms.
- More than 7 days have passed since your purchase date.
- You have initiated a bank chargeback for the same transaction (doing so will permanently suspend your account).
4. How to Request a Refund
- Contact the author first. Use the "Contact Author" button on the product page. Give them at minimum 72 hours to respond and provide a fix.
- If unresolved, contact CodeVyapaar Support. Go to contact.php and select "Refund Request" as the subject. Include your order ID, the product name, the issue description, and evidence that you contacted the author.
- Our team reviews your request within 2 business days and may contact you for additional information.
- Decision communicated. You'll receive an email with our decision. If approved, the refund is processed immediately.
5. Refund Timeline

6. Alternative Resolution
If a full refund is not granted, we may offer alternative resolutions including:
- Store credit equal to the purchase price, valid for 12 months
- Free access to an alternative comparable product
- Escalation to the author for a custom fix or extended support
7. Author Chargebacks
If a buyer successfully initiates a payment chargeback for a purchase, the refunded amount will be deducted from the responsible author's pending earnings, along with a ₹15 chargeback processing fee. Authors with more than 3 chargebacks in a rolling 90-day window may have their selling privileges reviewed.
8. Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with our refund decision, you may escalate your case to our Senior Support team by emailing success@razorpay with your ticket number. All escalations are reviewed by a different team member and responded to within 3 business days.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this Refund Policy periodically. Material changes will be announced in-app and via email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
